Each silver smith put their own mark on their potpourri design. Compare them. Then you can see the diversity of the craftsmanship. The square potpourri, for example, is dated 1742. Salomon Lamberts made it in a Regency style, with a partially open, permeable, open worked edge, and a lid worked with lattice. Engraved on all four sides, you can see two different impressions of cupid figures, alternated with a bird in a cartouche.
