This room full of cupboards was used to store the family's linen. Like the guest bedroom it has linoleum on the floor, though this time it's blue. Colours played an important role in this very practical house, but when the restoration began not much was left of the original ones. On one of the cupboard doors you'll see what's known as a colour ladder, which shows a reconstruction of the colours in the house.
